The Nunavut Food Security Coalition is now accepting funding proposals for projects that will address food security in Nunavut in 2017-18.
Non-profit organizations, societies and municipal organizations that carry out food security initiatives can apply for funding for projects that:
- contribute to the development and/or continuation of a food security project;
- enable members of the community to actively participate in the project; and
- reduce barriers to food access.
Priority will be given to projects that integrate educational components, such as skills development and training.
